How long does shipping take and what does it cost?
Orders are dispatched from our New York facility within one to two business days with tracked delivery. Shipping is complimentary on orders over $100, and a flat rate applies below that. You will receive a tracking link by email when your order ships.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship across the United States, with international shipping rolling out. Any duties or taxes for international orders are the responsibility of the recipient.
What is your returns policy and how do I start a return?
Return any unused piece in its original condition within 30 days for a full refund. Email support@thomas-ashton.com with your order number to start a return. Faulty items are covered by our two-year guarantee at no cost.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been dispatched we will do our best to amend or cancel it.
How do I track my order?
A tracking link is emailed to you the moment your order ships. You can also reach us any time and we will look it up for you.
How should I care for my leather?
Keep it dry and let it patina naturally. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth and condition once or twice a year with a neutral leather balm. Marks and tonal shifts are part of how full-grain ages.
How do I choose my belt size?
Measure a belt you already wear from the fold to the hole you use, or order two inches up from your trouser waist size. The Heritage Belt can be trimmed to length.
What does the two-year guarantee cover?
If anything in the materials or the make fails within two years, we will repair or replace it. We build leather to be kept, not replaced.
Where are your products shipped from?
Every order ships from our facility in New York with tracked delivery, usually within one to two business days of ordering.
What leather do you use?
Full-grain leather, the strongest and most natural cut of the hide. It is largely vegetable-tanned and left uncorrected, so it develops a rich patina with use rather than wearing thin.
Will the leather change over time?
Yes, and that is the point. Full-grain darkens, softens and takes on the marks of daily life. Most pieces look better after a year than they did on day one.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Every piece arrives in a rigid Thomas Ashton gift box with tissue and a printed care card, ready to give. There is nothing extra to add.
Can I exchange for a different colour or item?
Yes. Within 30 days, email support@thomas-ashton.com and we will arrange an exchange for an unused piece in its original condition.
Is checkout secure and what can I pay with?
Checkout is fully secure and encrypted through Shopify. We accept all major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.
Do you restock sold-out pieces?
Most core pieces are restocked. Email us about anything that is out of stock and we will let you know the timing.
